I learned my lesson

It all started back in 2021 when I was seven years old. The date was the 6th of June in 2021. I got a rabbit and named it marshall because it looked fluffy so a  few days later my mum told me to put marshall’s cage outside the backyard on the deck because marshall was pooping everywhere so I said ok and I was ABOUT to move his cage when out of nowhere my older sister by 6 yrs came and moved his cage outside in the backyard on the deck when I said I was gonna do it so I got mad and (SMACKED) her arm so hard she started crying when I went inside I got in trouble by my parents so I said sorry and went to the bedroom but before that my dad stopped  me and told me that the rabbit isn’t just mine and I was like oh then who’s is it ad he was like it’s all of urs and I was like oh sorry then got grounded for and hour so yeah after that I learned my lesson.

My Song Writing – Song Title: The year I grew stronger

(Title) The year I grew stronger.

(verse 1) Yo, two years deep, the cycle is complete, Fiafia is here, feel the rhythm in my feet. Staging the set, lights bright and hot, Cultural groups ready, giving everything we got. Pacific flow, the dance routine we rehearsed, But step out on that floor, my stomach feels cursed. A mix of emotions, I can’t really hide, Nervous and scared with a lump inside. Then the beat hits, the crowd starts to cheer, That fear melts away, replaced by pure cheer. Suddenly I’m happy, part of the powerful sound, The best cultural event in this whole school ground.

(Chorus) Listen up, kid, here’s the life lesson I send, Take the script of your life, start to twist and to bend. You can turn your story into a movie, a novel, or art, A song or a rap, a brand-new, fresh start. The school bell rings, but it’s more than just a place. This year I grew stronger, kept up the pace. Tried new things, pushed through the doubt and the fright, Yeah, this school year impacted me, shining the light.

(Verse 2) Next up on the calendar, a major new leap, The Year 5 & 6 Camp, secrets that we’d keep. Packed up my gear, tent was bundled and tight, Gonna sleep under stars, stay up late at night. The bus trip was crazy, the vibes were so high, Ready for the challenge, watching the clouds roll by. Kayaking on water, paddling hard with my mates, Exploring the shorelines, pushing past the gates. The tents were a squeeze, but it all felt so cool, A break from the classroom, a different kind of school. Every minute was freedom, every second was neat, Felt nothing but excited, can’t be beat!

(Bridge) So, this is my reflection, a little word from the wise. If you’re scared of the future, just open your eyes. Don’t hide from the challenge, don’t freeze in the spot, ‘Cause the older you get, the more things you’ve got To learn and to do, things you never expected, Sometimes the things you dread are what get you respected. Now for the future, I have just one big dream: For everyone to be kind, part of a peaceful team. And let’s hope for the best, a government that’s right. That’s amazing and wonderful, guiding us all with its light.
